The Hancock Republican Party is honored to help citizens make informed decisions. In addition to our recruitment process, our screening team was established in November of 2024. The screening team and screening process focuses on helping us all look at candidates desiring elected or appointed positions and was created to help gather information so that you can make informed decisions.

For the City of Findlay Law Director appointment, thank you to the one candidate who voluntarily participated in our screening effort. We did have another individual express interest in this position, but ultimately chose not to move forward. We will look at ways to help open up the opportunities and plan to discuss barriers that prevent candidates from being a part of this important democratic process. We believe our Founding Fathers would want and expect us to encourage people to step forward.
